Hidden Object Games 是關於 item search、attention 和 visual details 的 games。Player 會觀察 scene，把 object list 和 picture 進行 compare，並注意 small shapes、shadows、colors 或 hidden outlines。不同於 regular puzzle games，這裡的 task 通常不是 move elements，而是仔細觀察 space，找到被 disguised 的東西。
這個 tag 可以包含 classic hidden object scenes、按 list 進行 item search、adventure rooms、detective levels、pictures 之間的 differences、silhouette search、quest episodes，以及帶 time limit 的 games。有些 games 節奏 calm，另一些則加入 timer、hints、random clicks 的 penalty 和 new rooms。
