Escape Games คือ games ที่ต้องหา exit จาก room, building, laboratory, island หรือ closed place อื่น Player ต้องดู environment อย่างละเอียด, collect items, หา keys, open codes และ connect clues ที่นี่ reaction speed ไม่ใช่สิ่งที่ important ที่สุด แต่ observation, logic และการจำ right detail ใน right moment สำคัญกว่า

tag นี้อาจมี room escape scenes, locked doors, hidden keys, inventory puzzles, number codes, ciphers, mechanisms, dangerous buildings และ games ที่มี time limit สำหรับ escape บาง games built บน calm exploration ส่วนบางเกม add chase, horror หรือ timer Escape games อาจคล้าย horror games แต่ main task ไม่ใช่ scare player แต่ทำให้หา way out

ตอนเลือกควรดูว่า clues fair หรือไม่, objects visible หรือไม่, inventory comfortable หรือไม่ และ puzzles logical หรือไม่ สำหรับ short break, simple one-room escapes เหมาะกว่า ส่วน long play จะ interesting กว่าด้วย multiple locations, connected puzzles, gradually opening doors และ answers ที่ player เจอจาก careful thinking ไม่ใช่ random clicks
