Checkers gamesはchessより簡単に見えますが、exact calculationと各moveへのattentionが必要です。Piecesは通常diagonal moveし、opponent pieceをjumpしてcaptureします。last rowに到達したpieceはstronger kingになります。Forced capturesがあるため、1つのmistakeがすぐloss chainを開くことがあります。
このtagにはclassic Checkers、computer相手のgames、two-player modes、tactical tasks、different rules variantsが含まれます。一部のgamesではopponent piecesを少しずつ減らすことがimportantで、別のものではkingを作り、capture seriesをprepareし、opponentにuncomfortable moveを強いることが重要です。良いgameはattackだけでなく、responseを前もって見るabilityにも支えられています。
選ぶときはboard readability、clear pieces、forced capturesの表示、opponent levelを見るとよいでしょう。Beginnersにはhints、undo、allowed moves highlightingがusefulです。Experienced playersにはtimed mode、strong computer opponent、two-player play、そしてただpiecesを速くmoveするのではなくpositionを事前にcalculateできるcalm interfaceがよりinterestingです。
